​In 1975, Zulaika (Patricia Auch) was introduced to the fascinating world of Middle Eastern Dance. The mesmerizing music and celebratory aspects of the dance form captivated her and has been her passion ever since. 

• Has a BA in Elementary Education

• Travels nationally and internationally to study with master teachers, including trips to Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, and Algeria

• Has a soloist career spanning 35 years.

• Was a founding member of Jawaahir Dance Company.

  • Developed their outreach programs.

  • Taught beginner through advance dance classes at The Cassandra School.

• Presented educational programs to schools and general audiences for 30 years

• Lived in Cairo for a month to study Arabic.

• Is a rostered teaching artist with ArtsWA and Seattle's Community Arts Partners.

• Is a rostered touring artist with 4Culture.

• Is Administrative staff for the annual Arabic Music Retreat

• Teaches, performs, and presents educational programs in the greater Seattle area.

• Is available for presentations and performances throughout the US.
